The four-day programme took place from 6–9 May at Castello 1808 in Venice, coinciding with the opening week of the 61st Venice Art Biennale.

Kuboraum returned to Venice this month with a new chapter of its ongoing We Travel to Know Our Own Geography series, transforming a secondary school in Castello into a site for experimental performance, sound and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Across four days, the programme brought together artists spanning performance art, experimental club music and live audiovisual work, with appearances from Ziúr, Kelman Duran, Joshua Serafin and ASIANDOPEBOYS among others.

Highlights included the Italian premiere of Tianzhuo Chen (ASIANDOPEBOYS) and Siko Setyanto’s Moyang 先祖 & Seaman 漁師, alongside a live stage interpretation of Ocean Cage by KADAPAT and Nova Ruth featuring Siko Setyanto. The program also featured collaborative performances by Kianí del Valle and Ziúr, as well as FRANKIE and Kelman Duran, in addition to solo presentations from Emiliano Maggi, Romain Azzaro, and Cosimo Damiano.
